The ancient Greeks had a government called a Democracy was different from Monarchy because then more people made decisions like the towns people and they would vote on things they should do or to not do, not just one who controls everybody. I think this is the best choice of government for the Greeks because everyone gets a say in what the town or village to do.
Social Classes, there is an upper class which is the highest class or rank where the rich people were at. Directly below this class were the middle class is a free man and has jobs like merchants, contractors, manufacturers, managers, tradesmen, craftsmen, and artists. The next class is the lower class who is half free man but they were all slaves at one time. Then the lowest class the slave class were the slaves were and they were prisoners of war and did work for the upper classes.
Greek democracy was a radical department from Monarchy to Democracy because they didn't know how to choose a leader and they would never do anything like they had no chose to say what they want to say because they didn't have say. And with the monarchy the Ruler son would be the next leader so the Greeks might not like that ruler so that wasn't good. But with Democracy they could choose who they want and want they want to do.
